ES8077S And ES8043SC Pro Curve Linear Wet/Dry Shavers With Pivot Action Shaving System

When it comes to shaving performance the ES8077S Vortex and ES8043SC are functionally identical - you'll get the same great super smooth, close shave from either of them. The main difference is that the ES8077S Vortex comes with the unique HydraClean cleaning and charging stand and 1 HydraClean cartridge. The HydraClean Hygienic Cleaning System utilizes a water based solution - the only non-alcohol based detergent in the industry - so it's free of alcohol and harsh chemicals which can damage the plastic and waterproof seals of your shaver. Yet it cleans, disinfects and lubricates the foil and blades as well as the alcohol based cleaning solutions you'll find with all other currently available shaver cleaning systems.

Since alcohol is not used there is no danger of flammability, and the detergent is highly biogradeable so the dirty cleaning liquid can be poured down the drain without worry that it will harm your sink, septic system or the environment. The disposable cartridge can then be discarded as plastic waste. And while the HydraClean system automatically cleans, dries, and refreshes your Vortex it also simultaneously charges the shaver's lithium-ion battery.

The intelligent multi-level charging system allows you to select between 5 modes of operation: Clean/Dry/Charge, Clean/Dry, Dry/Charge, Dry and Charge. Panasonic recommends that you clean your Vortex after every shave, and the cleaning cartridge lasts about 30 to 40 days.
