Why Is My InterDesign Fog Free Mirror Blurry?
The InterDesign Fog Free Mirror comes from the factory with a thin protective plastic shield covering the front to protect it during shipping. It's the same thing you'll find covering brand new LCD displays on stereo equipment, laptop displays etc. You need to remove this before using your mirror - simply lift up a corner with your fingernail and peel it away, it will come right off. | | (return to top) |

How Long Will The Mirror Retain Its Fog Free Properties?
Anywhere from about 2 to 6 months depending on your water conditions. Sooner or later you'll need to begin treating your mirror in order for it to remain fog free, that's why we also carry PRO-SPARKLE IT® cleaner and de-fogger. A well-maintained mirror can last years. | | (return to top) |

Why Won't My Fog Free Mirror Or Handy Cup Stick To My Shower Tile?
While the heavy-duty suction cups will adhere to most shower surfaces they won't stick to everything. The surface needs to be flat, smooth and clean; if you've got rough, bumpy or uneven tile, or tile that has a residue left behind from cleaning products then the suction cups won't work. Some cleaning products leave an invisible film behind that when wet becomes super slippery, if your mirror or cup slides down the wall this is probably the case. Take a clean, slightly damp rag and vigorously wipe the surface area where you want to apply your mirror or cup until it's dry and feels clean to the touch. Put a few drops of water on the suction cup and then push it onto the tile using steady, even pressure. The suction cups will adhere perfectly to glass and fiberglass, but if you've got marble walls you should make sure the surface is completely clean and dry and put a drop or two of water on the suction cup before applying it to the wall. | | (return to top) |

My Mirror Is Fogging Up, What Should I Do?
If your shower is poorly ventilated and/or really steamy the mirror may fog up. No biggie, just cup your hand and splash some water on it once or twice and it should remain fog-free for the remainder of your shower. How Do I Clean My Fog Free Mirror?
The best product we've found to keep your mirror clean and fog-free is PRO-SPARKLE IT®, which is why we carry it here at All About Shaving. There is no need to use PRO-SPARKLE IT® until you begin to notice that your mirror is losing it's fog-resistant properties, or until waterspots or streaks begin to occur. About once a week spray the mirror a few times with PRO-SPARKLE IT® until the mirror's surface is covered with a thin mist. Take a clean, dry soft cloth (we highly recommend Handi-Wipes), fold it so it's approximately a little smaller than your mirror and spray it one or two times as well. Now wipe the mirror's surface from top to bottom using deliberate, even strokes (you may want to hold the bottom of the frame with your free hand to keep the mirror from wobbling around). Repeat once more if you feel it's necessary.
