Has The Ladyfair Been Discontinued?

The Ladyfair has in fact been discontinued but we've left the Frequently Asked Questions for it up here as a service to anyone with Ladyfair questions.

How Do I Use The Ladyfair?

The Ladyfair has two separate cutting edges - one is straight and the other is curved. For most situations you'll use the straight edge. When doing general body trimming, i.e. legs, arms, etc. you can hold the trimmer like you would a razor blade and use it the same way, i.e. almost horizontal or at about a 20 degree angle to the surface that you're trimming. Do not press down, at best you want only the most minimal or incidental contact with the surface of the skin. For your most sensitive areas hold the trimmer more or less perpendicular to the area you're trimming. Any loose skin should be pulled taut while trimming. Remember - it's NOT a shaver, it's a trimmer. You just need to get close enough to create short stubble which can then be easily removed with the Seiko Cleancut.™

I Can't Seem To Trim Some Stray Hairs Down To Stubble With My Ladyfair And When I Try To Get Closer It Bites Me! What Should I Do?

Sometimes stray hairs between about one sixteenth and one eighth of an inch will "lay down" on the skin, making it really difficult to get at them. They're too long to be shaved by the Seiko Cleancut™ and yet because they're horizontal to the skin it's almost impossible to get at them with the Ladyfair without risk of getting nipped or pinched. One solution is to trim and shave the area in question with the Ladyfair and Seiko Cleancut™ and then finish up with The Total Shaving Solution and a high quality blade, preferably in the shower. The Bikini Plus razor is particularly adept at removing these kinds of hairs and used with The Total Shaving Solution it's very gentle on the skin. Once these hairs are gone then simply use the Seiko Cleancut™ daily or every other day to maintain your clean shaven appearance.

Another solution is to spring for one or both of the Seiko Femini trimmers. Only the most elusive of hairs can escape from them, and you don't have to worry about them nipping or pinching you while you're trimming.

What Kind Of Battery Does The Ladyfair Use?

The Ladyfair uses two 1.5 volt "AA" batteries. You can expect to get quite a lot of life from them if you start with two fresh batteries and for your convenience we carry Duracell PROCELL batteries - the best that money can buy.

How Do I Clean The Ladyfair?

To clean the Ladyfair you need to remove the head from the body. First remove the batteries so you won't risk turning the unit on, then simply grab the blade assembly under both the curved and straight blades and gently pull it until it pops off. Now you can remove any hair that has accumulated, either with the little brush included with your Ladyfair or by blowing it clean with a can of compressed air. Reattach the blade assembly, return the batteries to the battery compartment and you're back in business.

Can I Get Spare Parts For The Ladyfair?

Yes, if you ever need to get spare parts (blade assembly / blade cap / battery cover) you can send us an email
and we'll take it from there.
