The vacuum system on the Trim 'N' Vac captures the hair being cut by the self-sharpening, precision-ground steel blades, resulting in neatly trimmed facial hair, no more hair trimmings in the sink and no more mess to clean up afterward. The trimmings are vacuumed into a receptacle in the base of the Trim 'N' Vac which is easily emptied when full. The receptacle typically only needs to be emptied after every three or four trimmings - your mileage may vary depending on how much hair you're trimming each time.
